Oh my goodness I didn't, nor did Autumn, like the injection. She had one in each leg and both cries were the worst things I have ever heard. It was a turn your head and cringe until it was done. I felt so bad for her. I immediately scooped her up and she just continued crying. It was the absolute worst thing. Once we got out and into the car we had a few fits on the way home but other than that had settled down. Did a little talking in between the fussing. Once home she was completely different little girl. She stayed up until about 8:15 completely laughing and playing then it went bad. She did fall asleep easily, and we will see how long it lasts. I stole the time to update everyone. She only had weight done today.........14 lbs 12 oz! She has gained a whole pound in two weeks. That is great.
She has just been doing so well lately it lets you forget all the stuff she has gone through. The way her scar is healing is very impressive. The surgeons at UVA really did quite a job. It will barely be seen when she gets older.
She only needed part of the dosage that was sent of the synagis so next order they won't need to send as much. Apparently as long as the vial isn't punctured it can be kept in the refridgerator for up to a certain amount of time. Her next dose is on November 21st and I already don't look forward to it. It may have to be Daddy's turn that day!
